Disciple 4 Life Ministries is powered by people like you — men and women who believe in second chances and the power of the Gospel to transform lives. Our volunteers teach, mentor, pray, organize, and support incarcerated individuals and their families.
 

Whether you're comfortable leading a class, writing letters, or just showing up with a listening ear, we’ll train and support you every step of the way.

Volunteer Opportunities

Lead or support New Life Behavior Program classes inside correctional facilities. Training and curriculum provided.

In-Prison Teaching

Walk alongside participants nearing release to provide encouragement, accountability, and spiritual support.

Reentry Mentorship

Help serve families through counseling support, childcare during workshops, holiday celebrations, or care packages.

Family Support Roles

Letter Writing & Encouragement

Send Scripture-based encouragement and letters to participants enrolled in D4L correspondence classes.

Behind-the-Scenes Help

Serve through event setup, admin support, resource packing, or prayer teams — vital roles that keep the mission moving.

Section 8: Waiver of Liability and Terms of Participation Agreement

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Disciple 4 Life Ministries. Volunteers play an essential role in fulfilling our mission to support incarcerated individuals, their families, and the community. Please review the following agreement carefully before submitting your application. By volunteering with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

By submitting this form, I acknowledge and agree to the following:


1. Assumption of Risk

I understand and accept that participating in volunteer activities with Disciple 4 Life Ministries may involve certain risks, including but not limited to:

  • Physical activity or manual labor during events or programs.

  • Interaction with incarcerated individuals or their families.

  • Travel to and from program locations, prisons, or community events.


    I voluntarily assume all risks associated with these activities and agree to participate to the best of my ability.


2. Waiver and Release of Liability

I release and hold harmless Disciple 4 Life Ministries, its staff, board members, affiliates, and partners from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or connected to my participation as a volunteer. This includes, but is not limited to, claims of injury, illness, damage, or loss incurred during or as a result of my involvement with the ministry, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.


3. Medical Consent

In the event of an emergency where I am unable to consent to treatment, I authorize Disciple 4 Life Ministries to seek emergency medical care on my behalf. I understand that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred as a result of treatment.


4. Confidentiality Agreement

As a volunteer, I may have access to sensitive or confidential information regarding program participants, including inmates, their families, and staff. I agree to maintain strict confidentiality and understand that unauthorized disclosure of this information may result in immediate termination of my volunteer role.


5. Code of Conduct

I agree to adhere to the policies and guidelines provided by Disciple 4 Life Ministries, including respecting program participants, maintaining professionalism, and following all safety protocols. I understand that failure to comply with these policies may result in termination of my volunteer role.


6. Agreement to Terms

By checking the agreement box and signing below in the digital form, I acknowledge that:

  • I have read and understood this Waiver of Liability and Terms of Participation Agreement.

  • I agree to abide by its terms as a condition of my participation as a volunteer with Disciple 4 Life Ministries.
